There are three panels red wall at the Lake Garden which are also my favourite walls. They always catch my attention everytime when I walk pass these walls.
When I was shooting Tiffany at the Lake Garden, we reached these three panels of red walls at approx 6pm. It was still bright and not harsh. The diffused light allowed us to snap a few photos using natural light source.

But we got bored of the diffused light after just 5min. I dismounted the Nikon SB900 speedlight on my D700 and set it to CLS mode then passed it to David (my shooting buddy on that day). I told David to hold it up high on Tiffany’s right, 45° shining down at her.

I then dialed my shutter speed dial to a –3stops to kill the ambient light, and asked Tiffany “Hey Tiff, look at the light on your right and FOLLOW it…”
