I was surfing some Nikon websites and came across these advertisements for the Nikon S60 compact cameras.

Looks like the newest “FACE DETECTION” technology that many camera manufacturers brag about nowadays can produce some unexpected result  …

Very often, I get questions like:

• Which camp are you? Nikon or Canon? The dark (Nikon) or white (Canon) side?
  
• So, Nikon and Canon, which one is better?

Well, it is no secret that I am a Nikon user and when I answer the above questions, I normally get myself into trouble with more questions:

• Huh?!! Nikon?!! WHY NIKON?!! Isn’t Canon better?
• Nikon?!! Nikon is not good!!! You just have to look at the WHITE lenses with those professional photographers during sports events, and you’ll know Canon is a better camera.
• Canon is a better camera. Just look at the market share in Malaysia and the marketing activities that Canon Malaysia is doing. Nikon barely do anything, it is not as good.

When I hear this, I will just smile and change topic.

Not that I don’t wanna argue bout it, but I just find that this is a never ending argument that the two camps always have over each other. Nikon users will always say “NIKON IS BETTER. COME TO THE DARK SIDE“; whereas Canon users will say “CANON IS BETTER. WELCOME TO THE WHITE SIDE“.

So, which brand is better?

Honestly, I always believe every camera manufacturer has its own strength. Although I am a Nikon user, I admit that Nikon has its cons. For Canon, it is a good camera manufacturer but it has its cons too. Same goes to Sony, Olympus, Fujifilm, Pentax, Leica etc.

I came across this wallpaper from lensa.co.uk when I was looking for a wallpaper for my notebook. It is so true and it paints a THOUSAND words.

It’s Friday again!!!! TGIF! But today, it is not just another Friday.

Today is a special day for “slaves” like me who work our a** off to pay mortgage, settle bills, buy milk powder, invest in children education fund etc. HAPPY LABOUR DAY!

It’s Friday again!!! As usual, I will share some funny stuff I found on the internet.

After 14 days I started this blog, we are getting more and more visitors to this site with close to 3,000 pageviews. This week itself, we have a 75.18% increase (till 5pm today) in traffic over last week. I would like to thank all my friends and visitors who share the common interest in photography, thank you for your visit and support.

I started this blog on Sunday night while watching football. In less than 5 days, this blog has gone through two layouts, two facelifts and managed to gain more than 250 visits (still counting before the time hits 12am tonite). It is a good start.
